Sleeping Angel
Well, Max hasn't been feeling well. He has had a cold for about 1 month. (maybe RSV, who knows at this point and it really doesn't matter). We saw the MD at the beg. of March for his 2mo appt and shots. He was 11 lbs 11 oz. A complete 5 lb wt gain since birth!! He said he was in the 50th percentile on everything, so keep doing what I'm doing re: breastfeeding b/c he was perfect. At that appt. he felt like it was a cold that would run its course. Since that appt he has progressively gotten worse. I missed work last Mon b/c Sun night he ran a fever and was so full of mucous in his nose that he couldn't eat. I was suctioning out LOADS of it. They put him on an antibiotic. Well, throughout last week he kept getting worse instead of better. By Sat. am I was worried that he had bronchitis because the congestion went from his nose to his throat and then his chest. We went to the doctor on Sun AM (yes - our's is open on the weekend) and they said he had bronchiolitis which is worse than bronchitis. It's very close to pneumonia. So, I am off work today taking care of my BABY!! He is on a new antibiotic and getting breathing treatments with a nebulizer, just like Mommy with her asthma. So, update for all - keep Max in your thoughts. Hopefully in a few days he will turn the corner and feel better. For, now lots of love, attention and spoiling. Here is how the little prince gets to sleep sometimes, right beside Mommy in her bed.

Here's Uncle Mike!! Yes, he does hold Max but he tends to hold the dogs more :) Especially Daisy because she's just so loveable. On a side note, another reason I got behind on the blog: the week I went back to work Daisy got very sick, we thought at one point that she wasn't going to make it. We don't know how, but she got pancreatitis. She spent several days at the Vet in the "hospital". She is all better now but we were so focused on her that it was hard to even take care of Max. Nana Stowers came and stayed to help out with Max so we could take care of sick Daisy even after she came home from the hospital. Thankfully, all is better now!
