Happiness is Max's Smile

Here is our lil Mountaineer getting ready for August!!
Let's GOOOOO Mountaineers

Hey Mom, what's up?

Hello World

Yeah, I'm a big boy

6 months old!!!!

On 6/30/09 Max turned 6 months old. Can't believe it's been 1/2 a year already. He was 17lbs 16oz at his MD appt. Lost about 1lb in a month which is a good thing because he was just SO chubby. Went from 75% to 50%. I think it's because of the bouncer, trimming up those chubby legs. Plus he had a growth spurt - 27 inches. He grew 3 inches in 1month!! Now 75% for his length!!

He is crawling now, mainly backwards but starting to go forwards a little. We call him "roly poly" because he likes to lay in the floor and roll from back to front and then front to back. We really have to get the house babyproofed quickly!!!
We can't believe just how much he is growing up!!

Rice Cereal

Here is our big boy sitting up in his high chair eating rice cereal

Doesn't know what to think, so new but so good

All Tuckered Out

Here is Max asleep (rarely see this, he RARELY sleeps). He played until he just couldn't play anymore.

Bongo Fun

So, Chris got bongos for Father's Day. He swore that Max wouldn't be allowed to play with them and get them all "slobbery". Well, we only had them 20mins and Chris already had Max playing with them....so here it is...my 2 boys making music

Bass Pro Outing

For my Dad's birthday, Max and I took him shopping at Bass Pro and we ate at the restaurant there. We had a great time. Here is Max in his Bass Pro outfit that Papaw Stewart bought him.
I'm cute and I know it

Here's my Dad and Max posing in front of one of the fish tanks

Max didn't want to pose much, he was too excited to look at all of the fish. Can't really see it good but his shorts say "Bass Pro" on the bottom

Pool Time at Aunt Lori's

Ok, so Max LOVES Aunt Lori's pool. I wish the video we took of him wasn't so splotchy and the sound cuts out a lot but alas, you will get the point. So much for taking video with our camera. We would push him back and forth in this ring between Lori, Chris and me. Max would cackle and laugh so hard, he had so much fun. Cool dude, shades and all
Wait, where's my margarita?

Fun with Daddy
